As a Type-A (okay, I'll admit somewhat control-freak) I had trouble justifying the idea of having a wedding planner help me with all of the details of my wedding. I thought I could do it all myself, but boy was I wrong on that one! I knew that I at least would need someone the day-of so I had hired Courtney and Casey specifically for that purpose, but the partnership quickly turned into us meeting multiple times a month in the months leading up to the wedding because these girls just GOT IT. Courtney was incredibly organized, asked all of the right questions and made suggestions where I needed them. I had a distinct vision for my big day and instead of pushing me in one direction or trying to take away from that, she added value by making suggestions that stayed true to my original dream of the big day, making it even more amazing than I could have ever imagined! Throughout the planning process, Courtney really became my rock. I could count on her for anything I needed, big or small, even if it was just a quick email or text back reassuring me that everything was going to fall into place and be as incredible as I was hoping it would be.
Courtney and Casey ran a flawless rehearsal the day before our wedding and I could go celebrate with family and friends (and actually relax!) the night before the big day knowing that these two would have it all covered. The morning of my wedding I woke up excited and for the first time in months, NOT stressed! When we got up to the venue, Courtney and Casey made sure that we had separate quarters on the property so that my Groom didn't see me (we had decided to not see each other until the ceremony). 15 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start, things were still not ready and I started to panic. Courtney and Casey reassured me and handled it like true professionals, tracking down all of the right people at the venue, giving orders (in a respectful and kind, yet authoritative way that was necessary) and getting everything perfectly set for me to walk down the aisle without a care in the world.
The entire wedding from start to finish was perfect and I can honestly say that I don't know what I would have done without Courtney and Casey. Their expertise is unmatched. They seriously have a vendor recommendation, creative idea and checklist for EVERYTHING. Their professionalism is unparalleled and above all, they are always there with beautiful smiles on their faces.

The ladies of HMGH made our wedding day dreams come true. I knew what I wanted for my wedding but had no idea where to start or how to get there. Casey and Courtney truly heard my wants and made suggestions that were better than I could have imagined. They brought us various vendor selections for caterers, flowers, music, décor, etc and their decisions were remarkable. The leg work was done so my husband and I simply had to choose one which made making decisions so easy. In addition to all the planning and concept developing they assisted with, they were a totally dream boat when it came to the day of.
I know how stressful weddings can be having been a bridesmaid a time or two (or 6). I was expecting to be stressed and to barely remember the day. But because of the ladies' thoughtful planning and extreme organization, I felt like I had so much time to spend with my friends and family. We just got to enjoy every moment of our wedding which meant to the world to us. The whole day was like a big party, filled with fun and celebration.
My husband and I had the best day of our lives thanks to HMGH!
This is our first review by a Mother of the Bride...and this is not just any MOB but one of our favorites to work with EVER! Knowing how involved our mom has been in our lives, Casey's wedding, and of course HMGH, we just love and adore MOB's who are so involved in their daughter's wedding. When our daughter announced her engagement, she and her fiancee decided they wanted, what, in this day and age is considered a short engagement, 7 months. Thus, we needed to hit the ground running...beginning by lining up the 3 most important items - the place, the wedding coordinator and the band. We asked friends for advise on the wedding coordinator and "HMGH" came up with high marks. After meeting with Courtney and Casey, we signed them up! I, the "MOB", consider myself an organized person, but, even I could not handle or even be aware of, all the required tasks to make the event successful - and this is where "HMGH"came in. Courtney was always on top of every detail and the necessary timeline - giving us suggestions (ie the fabulous band which she contacted right away!) If any of us, be it me, the bride, the groom, the "FOB" or "MOH" (maid of honor) had any questions or concerns, Courtney took care of it and ALWAYS returned our calls or emails asap! I had heard from many pals to be prepared for that glitch that would throw us into a tizzy the week before and/or the wedding day. IT NEVER HAPPENED!! All went smoothly and EVERYONE was calm and having fun! Without a doubt, it was because we knew that "HMGH" was there and they would take care of anything so we could all enjoy ourselves and have a truly special and memorable time. Without question, I recommend "HMGH" highly. They are indeed, THE BEST!!

Seeing my sister and Mom so calm, cool and collected throughout the entire process was clearly due to the phenomenal expertise of Courtney and HMGH. The way you envision your wedding is one thing and seeing them all come to life is another, Courtney made this happen. She always knew how to accomplish any idea and on the big day it was apparent she is respected by all colleagues and vendors. My sister and brother in law were thrilled!
Throughout the planning process Courtney provided bridesmaid suggestions and reminders which were super helpful and informative for me as well as the rest of the group. It was a stress free experience and any questions or concerns were addressed with timely responses and pizzazz.
Courtney and Casey are beyond wonderful and I cannot express my gratitude enough. I would not attempt to plan a wedding without them and have recommended them to all of the engaged couples I know. They seem to know what one needs before you do and can be counted on to ease any anxiety.

I was referred to Courtney and Casey by a friend who swore that not only were they the best event planners around, but that from the moment you meet them, they feel like old friends. Having now had the pleasure to work with them, I can absolutely testify that the sisters of "Help Me Get Hitched" are an amazing duo. As my friend alluded to, their ability to keep things on track while also maintaining a relaxed and fun atmosphere truly sets them apart . I have worked with top planners on both coasts, but their refreshing enthusiasm for the event business is contagious, and is sure to bring a magical touch to any occasion. It's the beginning of the wedding season and it was a perfect wedding to start off 2013! Anna and Davis really showed us what that "Southern Charm" is all about. They both were so sweet during the whole planning process and then just melted our hearts on their wedding day. These newlyweds are two of the sweetest people we have been so lucky to work with. OMG!!!! I love these girls. I truly feel like they are my best friends. I do not know what would have happened on my wedding day without them. These girls blew it away. My caterer was a huge disappointment. They were completely short staffed. Casey and Courtney stepped in and made sure that my day was flawless. They had to wear a million different hats and did it without skipping a beat. My wedding was just the way I had envisioned, because of these girls. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!!
Our wedding would not have been a success without Casey and Courtney. They are true professionals, sooo nice and they took all the pressure off of the bride and I so that we could enjoy our special day. I highly recommend 'Help Me Get Hitched.'
